SANTA MARIA - There are new developments in the case involving a Santa Maria elementary school principal arrested on molestation charges.
KCOY CBS 12 obtained the search warrant in the case and we now know the victim wore a wire to gather evidence.
Santa Maria Police Detectives used a body wire to tape an arranged meeting between Collier and the alleged victim.
On the tape Collier admits she was involved in a sexual relationship with a former student, who was under the age of 15.
The search warrant also reveals what the victim told police about the relationship.
The girl alleges she and Collier became intimate in 2004. While watching a movie they started "Sitting closer to each other, then holding hands and kissing."
The victim also says they engaged in sexual acts inside of Collier's apartment.
Criminal attorney Matt Guererro says the victim's statements to police, plus the wired conversation could be enough to convict Collier.
"Had it not been for the meeting that was recorded it would just be a he said she said," says Guererro.
Brookann Collier is due to make her first court appearance Thursday, charges have yet to be filed.
The Santa Maria Bonita School District met with Collier Monday and put her on paid administrative leave.
