Skeletal Remains Found in San Luis Obispo County Creek - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- The partial remains of a human body were found in a creek in San Luis Obispo County, said the sheriff's department.

The remains were found Sunday afternoon on the South side of Tank Farm road between Higuera Street and Highway 227. They were found in the water of the creek that flows through the property.

A person who is leasing the land from Chevron made the discovery and called 911.

According to the sheriff's office there is no outright indication of foul play but they are still investigating.
