Suspect in Lompoc Homicide Identified and Arrested

LOMPOC, Calif. - Lompoc Police have identified and arrested Adrian Bravo Perez and charged him with Saturday night's murder of Jose Lopez.

According to Police Saturday night at approximately 10:19 PM, Officers responded to the 400 block of East Airport/Prune alley for the report of gun shots heard in the area.  Upon arrival, Officers discovered a victim down on the ground in the alley.  The victim was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The victim was identified as Jose Lopez a Lompoc resident.  The Lompoc Police Department Investigations unit aggressively pursued active leads that were developed immediately following the homicide.

As a result of the investigative efforts by the Lompoc Police Department, Adrian Bravo Perez of Lompoc was taken into custody today for the murder of Jose Lopez.  During the investigation information and evidence was developed identifying Perez as the individual who shot and killed Jose Lopez.  

Adrian Perez has been booked into the Lompoc City Jail for the charge of 187(a) PC- Homicide.  His bail has been set at one million dollars.
