P.J. Javaheri is the weekend Meteorologist for KCOY and KKFX TV.
P.J. grew up in Redmond, Washington just outside the city of Seattle. His journey to becoming a Meteorologist has taken him to Arizona State University where he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Meteorology from the prestigious Walter Cronkite school of Journalism. He has since attended Mississippi State University where he earned a degree in atmospheric science and is currently working towards his NWA seal. He forecasted for two years at ASU where his forecasts earned top honors among college station programming.
During the summers he worked as a weather producer at KOMO TV (ABC affiliate in Seattle). He spent the past two years honing his skills as the Chief forecaster at KCSG TV in Southern Utah, and he now calls the beautiful Central Coast his home.
P.J. enjoys hiking the coastal ranges, reading and lifting weights.
