Local Non-Profit Teams up with Clothing Store to Create Confidence

Posted: Updated:

SAN LUIS OBISPO – A clothing store in San Luis Obispo is working to make struggling job seekers more confident.

During the month of September, Men's Warehouse at the Madonna Plaza is collecting gently used suits as well as shirts, ties and shoes.

All the clothing that's donated will be given to PathPoint.  They are a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people with disabilities or disadvantages, reach their fullest potential.

"Our belief, core belief at the Men's Warehouse has always been you know, look, dress for success and sometimes people just don't have the opportunity to dress their best for success so what we try to do is give them that opportunity," said Men's Warehouse Store Manager Jeremy Dawson.

Men's Warehouse is hoping to collect 100,000 suits nationwide.

For every suit donated, the store will donate a dress shirt.
