Inside the "Hotel Corque". Set to Open in March

SOLVANG - With a new name and a new look the Royal Scandinavian Inn has become Hotel Corque, the Santa Ynez Valleys newest attraction.

At today's sneak preview of the hotel and restaurant, celebrity chef/consultant Bradley Ogden and executive chef Jonny Hall served samplings from the new restaurant Root 246.

The 25-year old building has been transformed into 134 elegant rooms with an Oak Room located in the lobby of the hotel at the Chumash Resort.

When it re-opens, a spokesperson from the hotel said guests will undoubtedly be amazed at the transformation.

Hotel Corque and Root 246 open this Spring 2009.
