3 EGGS, LIGHTLY BEATEN
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, MELTED
1 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
¼ CUP JACK DANIELS OR BEST QUALITY BOURBON WHISKEY
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
½ CUP SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CUP PECANS, CHOPPED
1 10-INCH PIE CRUST, UNBAKED

1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES 

2. IN A MIXING BOWL, BEAT EGGS, SUGAR, BUTTER, CORN SYRUP, VANILLA, AND JACK DANIELS UNTIL WELL COMBINED.  SPRINKLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE SHELL, COVER WITH PECANS, AND POUR FILLING OVER ALL. 

3. PLACE IN PREHEATED OVEN AND BAKE FOR 35 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED HALFWAY BETWEEN THE CENTER AND THE EDGE COMES OUT CLEAN. 

4. LET STAND AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.  SERVE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM.
