Broadcast Engineering Technician

As a Broadcast Engineering Technician you will work under the general direction of the Chief Engineer. In this role you will support the Chief Engineer in the performance of maintenance of all technical facilities. This includes, but not limited to; transmitters, microwave, control rooms, satellite, ENG systems, studio systems and facility systems. 

Specific Job Duties:

• Install, repair & maintenance of Video, Audio, RF and computer based broadcast equipment.
• Ability to repair equipment to component level.
• Ability to repair Facilities mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provide on-call support. This may entail phone or physical support at facility for equipment failure or severe weather.
• Maintain engineering database

Skills Required/Qualifications:

• Advanced college or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience working in Broadcast television.
• Ability to work on-call after-hours and alternating weekends.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capable of lifting 50 Lbs is required
