SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY - A northern San Luis Obispo County gang sweep involving 40 law enforcement officers, on Thursday evening, has arrested 14 individuals officials say Friday morning.
The six hour operation was aimed at doing parole/probation and gang compliance checks.
The operation netted nine adults and five juveniles associated with criminal street gangs.
Brian Hascall with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department has identified 8 different law enforcement agencies, including SLO County Probation officers, Paso Robles and Atascadero Police, Gang Task Force, Sheriff's narcotics detectives, FBI Safe Streets Team, ICE and Atascadero State Hospital Police K-9.
