ATASCADERO - If you haven't acquired a taste for beer, a new company in Atascadero might be able to help
It's beer is brewed to taste like candy.
Along with using the traditional ingredients of yeast, hops, water and malt, TNA Candy Beers infuses candy, exotic fruits and tea.
Owner Tyrone Armstrong has been home brewing beer for nearly a decade and came up with the idea for candy beer about four years ago from a friend who didn't really like regular beer.
"And she said the bitter taste really threw her off she wasn't really feeling it, she said you should try to do something to make beer sweeter and that's how we came up with the uh idea to infuse candy with the beers." owner Tyrone Armstrong told Your Central Coast News.
TNA Candy Beers are not yet licensed to sell on the open market but they can be sampled at trade shows and select tastings.
