Firefighters Fight Two Fires In Santa Ynez Valley

NEAR SANTA YNEZ - The Santa Barbara County Fire Department and US Forest Service are fighting two fires burning near Figueroa Mountain Road.

The first fire, dubbed the Tunnel Fire, was contained at two acres. Crews are currently mopping up the scene.

The second fire, the Goat Fire, has burned 25 acres and is about 10% contained. Fire crews are attacking the fire from the ground and the sky.

Both fires ignited around 6:30 Saturday morning. The cause of both fires is under investigation.
