FIVE CITIES - Firefighters in the Five Cities are going 'Passionately Pink' for the next week to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
Members of the Five Cities Fire Authority will wear pink t-shirts while on duty.
Along with raising awareness, they're honoring family and friends who are fighting breast cancer.
Most of the supplies and the time spent to make the t-shirts were donated.
"Within 24 hours we had sold just about all 100 shirts and actually we were in the print shop until about 1 in the morning printing more so we're doing another couple hundred." says Brian Salce with the Five Cities Fire Authority.
Community members can also buy the t-shirts at Fire Station 66, on Traffic Way in Arroyo Grande.
The shirts cost $10 and the money raised goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
