ARROYO GRANDE - A special program is helping sick children feel better at Arroyo Grande Hospital.
Each child is getting a doll and a marker when they check-in to the hospital.
Doctors can draw on the dolls, to help teach the kids about the treatments they'll get.
Members of the Arroyo Grande Kiwanis Club donated the materials and their time to assemble the 'healing doll' kits.
On Friday, the Kiwanis Club donated 40 dolls.
The Arroyo Grande Kiwanis Club plans to donate a total of 150 dolls.
