SAN LUIS OBISPO - An aviation company at the San Luis Obispo Airport is expanding.
Aviation Consultants Inc. is expanding its maintenance business, ACI Jet Solutions.
It's doing so with a brand new, 34,000 square foot facility that can handle light to heavy plane maintenance, as well as major repairs and modifications.
ACI plans to start marketing these services next year, to bring more corporate aircraft maintenance to San Luis Obispo, along with more jobs.
"And if we're successful, and are able to generate enough business we could potentially employ up to twenty additional aircraft mechanics and those are all good full time head of household jobs." says CEO of ACI Jet Solutions, Bill Borgsmiller.
ACI also uses a number of Central Coast vendors for its daily operations.
