Local Landmark Recognized By Marble Institute

SANTA BARBARA - The Marble Institute of America is recognizing the work done on a Central Coast Landmark.

Nick Blantern and his company, Britishstone, have been selected to receive the Pinnacle Award of Excellence and the Grande Pinnacle Award for his work in recreating the Spirit of the Ccean fountain at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.

The judges in Washington, D.C. said it represented a "rare commitment to excellence in art and fabrication."
