Neighbor Rescues Man From Burning Trailer

SANTA YNEZ VALLEY - A man in the Santa Ynez Valley is being credited with saving his neighbor's life.

At around 4:30 Thursday morning, a fire broke out in a trailer on the 9000 block of Figueroa Mountain Road.

The neighbor saw smoke coming from the trailer, woke up a man in his 70s, and drove him to the hospital.

The victim suffered second and third degree burns to his body.

He was then taken by helicopter to a burn center in the Bay Area.
