Cal Poly Engineering Department Receives Large Gift

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Cal Poly has received a $50,000 gift from the Gene Haas Foundation.

The money will help future manufacturing engineering students by creating scholarships and enhancing laboratory resources with new equipment.

In recognition of the gift, the lab has been renamed the Gene Haas Lab for Robotics and Automation.
