Police Looking For Residential Burglar

GOLETA - Police in Goleta are looking for a man, posing as a door-to-door salesman, who then breaks in if no one is home.

Two residential burglaries happened Monday afternoon in the area around Scripps Crescent Street.

In one case, the thief stole pain medication, money, and a checkbook.

Police believe he pretends to sell magazines door-to-door, and if no one answers, he breaks into the home.
