KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - NewsGrant To Help Promote Electric Vehicles

CENTRAL COAST - A $200,000 grant from the California Energy Commission will help the Central Coast get geared up for plug-in electric vehicles.

The money will go toward creating a council called Plug-In Central Coast.

It will promote the use of plug-in electric vehicles in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties and help decide where to add charging stations around the area.
