A member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame, the 16-year NBA veteran played in more consecutive games than any other player in league history and earned the nickname "Iron Man" for playing 1,192 straight games.
Green was a 1985 1st round draft pick of the Lakers and spent 9 years with the team, winning three NBA titles. He also played with Phoenix, Dallas and Miami.
Green retired from professional basketball in 2000.
