Crash Shuts Down Busy Intersection

SANTA MARIA - A crash between a tractor trailer and two cars shut down a busy Santa Maria intersection during rush hour Tuesday evening. It happened at Betteravia and Miller around 5:00 PM.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

It took crews a while to clean up the scene because about ten gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the truck when it was hit.
