CARPINTERIA - Four people from Ventura are facing charges in a series of recent car burglaries in Carpinteria.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies arrested Donald Reyes, Timothy Dalrymple, Kristina Ferguson, and Janna Cucci after a two-hour long standoff at a motel on Carpinteria Avenue.

Deputies found a stolen car outside the motel.

The standoff was sparked when deputies tried to question the four people, but they refused to answer the door of their motel room.
