Police Investigate Parking Lot Kiosk Robberies

SANTA BARBARA - The Santa Barbara Police Department is investigating a series of armed robberies at downtown city parking lot kiosks.

The robberies have occurred over the past two months.

The first one happened at City Lot 2 on January 3rd.

The second was at City Lot 4 on January 20th.

On Tuesday, February 21st, someone robbed the kiosk at City Lot 7 on Anacapa Street.

In each case, the robber covered his face with a cloth, showed the kiosk operator a handgun, and ran off with the money.
