SAN LUIS OBISPO - The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments is considering the future site of a transit center for the city.
The third in a series of workshops was held Wednesday to share several options with the public.
The transit center study is considering eight alternatives.
At this point, the preferred site is on Higuera Street.
The estimated cost is about $5 million.
The findings from the study will be presented to the San Luis Obispo City Planning and Development Department.
The public will have the chance to sound off on the plans.
The final report will be complete in June.
