Santa Maria - A new small business entrepreneurship center is now open at Allan Hancock Community College.
It's a place where you can get help starting a business.
You'll also be able to speak with others, who have actually gone through the process of starting a business.
You can learn about the real world challenges of getting a new business off the ground.
Anne Cremarosa, the SBEC coordinator says, "When you see economic downturn, that's when we see entrepreneurship rise to the top. This is truly time for entrepreneurs who are ready to strike out. A lot of times you can't find a job, and this is a way of making your own job."
Students in the program at Hancock learn small business management...internet marketing...business law and human relation.
