Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Presents Senior Fit Testing

ARROYO GRANDE, CA – (March 28, 2012) – Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, a Dignity Health member of the Central Coast, which also includes French Hospital Medical Center and Marian Regional Medical Center, is proud to present "Senior Fit Testing", in partnership with the Active Aging Task Force in San Luis Obispo.

All community members are invited to join us for this fitness assessment which includes helpful hints on how to maintain mobility for older adults. The session will also provide strength training exercises.  The fitness tests are aimed to help provide important and useful information to adults who wish to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle into their senior years. Cal Poly students will help assist in the fitness assessments for all who attend.

The session will be held April 18 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Annex building Conference Room A, located at 345 South Halcyon Road. For more information or to sign up, please call (805) 473-7662.
