LOMPOC - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly bicycle crash north of Lompoc.
It happened Sunday afternoon at Highway 1 and San Antonio Road East.
Officers say 58-year-old James Hamlin of Santa Maria was riding his bicycle when he was rear-ended by 84-year old Benny Contreras of Lompoc.
