Chinese Dissident Arrived in United States

Newark, N.J.- Chen Guangcheng, the blind legal advocate who escaped from house arrest and sought refuge in the American Embassy, arrived safely in the U.S. Saturday.

His arrival ends a diplomatic drama that threatened to disrupt relations between China and the United States.

A professor at New York University confirmed Guangcheng will study law there.
