Giants' Pablo Sandoval Named As Suspect in Santa Cruz Assault Crime

APTOS, Calif. - The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department is investigating Giants' baseball player, Pablo Sandoval, as a possible suspect in a sexual assault that happened early Friday morning in Aptos.

According the report, the victim met a small group of people in downtown Santa Cruz and went to a resort with them in Aptos where the incident was alleged to have occurred. 25-year-old, Pablo Sandoval is a suspect named in the complaint.

Sandoval was contacted at the resort. According to officers, he cooperated in the investigation. He was not detained nor arrested.
