Albertsons Announces Layoffs for Central Coast Stores

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. -- According to the Associated Press, as many as 2,500 grocery store workers at local Albertsons stores will lose their jobs at 247 California and Nevada stores.

Layoffs will start June 17th.

Albertsons stretches throughout the Central Coast from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara.

The A.P. says Albertsons won't say if any stores will close.
