Apple is also expected to announce a new mapping application to rival Google maps, one of the most coveted features on the iphone.
Meantime, in New York, Apple's first computer will go up for sale. Sotheby's will auction off the iconic piece of computer history this week. The clunky 1976 model was hand-built by Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. It's expected to fetch $180,000.
