Dog Stuck On A Cliff For Days Is Rescued

LUCIA, NEAR HIGHWAY 1, Calif.- A dog stuck on the side of a cliff for days is now safe.

The one and a half year old Shepherd mix, whose been named, Billy, was rescued Wednesday by the SPCA for Monterey County.

The dog was found about 15 feet down the side of a cliff in Lucia on Highway 1, just south of Big Sur. After staff rescued Billy he was taken to a vet, covered in ticks, cuts, starving and suffering from dehydration.

The dog was wearing a black leather collar and a red harness. No word if he has an owner.
