58 Citations Issued In Crosswalk Sting

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- 58 citations were issued Thursday in Santa Barbara for drivers who failed to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.

Santa Barbara Police conducted a sting operation, in hopes drivers will be more aware of people crossing the street in the city.

The sting was held at Milpas Street at Ortega Street, Santa Barbara Street at Sola Street and State Street at Calle Palo Colorado.

One pedestrian was cited for walking against a red light.
