
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman after they saw security camera footage of her run over a man on a bicycle in the Target parking lot Monday night.
According to police, an unknown man got into an argument with a bicyclist. Police say store video shows Olivia Ripple intentionally ramming her car into the bicyclist after the argument as the bicyclist was trying to ride away. The video also shows the unknown man jump into Ripple's van and drive away.
The bicyclist suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries, said police.
Police dispatch transmitted a county-wide broadcast of the van's description and license plate number. The van was spotted by a Pismo Beach police officer driving on Highway 101.
Police say that Ripple was the only person in the van. She was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. At this time police are still looking for the man that was seen getting in the van with Ripple after she hit the bicyclist.
