Citizen Tip Leads Police To Fugitive Arrest

LOS ANGELES, Calif.- A wanted suspected con artist out of Santa Barbara County is behind bars after deputies caught up with him in Los Angeles County.

Jerrell Yearego was wanted on a felony warrant out of Santa Barbara and Santa Clara counties for fraud and false impersonation. Since March, the SBSO Felony Fugitive Unit has received several tips from the public. These tips indicated Yearego whereabouts.

He's been booked into the Los Angeles County Jail and will be sent back to Santa Barbara County.
