SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Police in Santa Maria are searching for a man they say robbed a 14 year old at knife point.
It happened at the intersection of Church and Pine, just after noon Tuesday. Police say the suspect took the victim's backpack and other personal items, then ran off.
The suspect is described as a white male between 20-30 years old with short or shaved hair and a goatee. He is approximately 5'9" to 6'0" tall weighing about 180 lbs with tattoo's on his chest. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
The juvenile was not injured. Anyone with information is asked to call Santa Maria Police.
