PISMO BEACH, Calif.- New details about a body found Sunday floating in the water in Pismo Beach. The body has been identified as 34 year old Jonathan Blankenship. Central Coast News is learning about what the victim may have been doing the night before.
According to Pismo Beach Police Department, a couple left a bar at 853 Shell Beach Road extremely intoxicated early Sunday morning.
When officers located the couple in the 200 block of Placentia, the male hid behind a car then took off running. Police searched the area, but were unable to find him. The female identified the male she was with, only as John.
The female was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
