SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif-Four people were arrested Wednesday. They are accused of several crimes including: making fake credit cars, burglary, and theft.
Jamie Miller, was caught in the Madonna Plaza parking lot after trying to use a fake credit card at Game Stop in San Luis Obispo. When it didn't work, she left to try her luck at Best Buy. A suspicious associate at the Game Stop called the police and they later found Miller in a Uhaul truck.
"It turns out she had a felony warrant for the County of Los Angeles for burglary," says Sergeant Janice Goodwin of San Luis Obispo Police Department. After being arrested police took a look inside her vehicle.
When police searched it revealed stolen property as well as other items which are still under investigation. After the search of the Uhaul, police received another call!
"From a towing company, from a suspicious request for a tow from a private parking lot," says Sergeant Goodwin.
Police located a van that had paperwork connecting it to the seized Uhaul. Which then lead them to a hotel where the others were found with stolen items and a machine that makes credit cards.
Police are still investigating if these people had hit other cities, or states. Jamie Miller, Enrique Oviedo, Michael Martinez and Diana Herrera have all been booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
