SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif.- It's been almost a year since a man was stabbed to death at a Paso Robles motel and finally the first of four suspects in the case, entered a plea Thursday.
Alfonso Fierros entered a no contest plea to murder in a San Luis Obispo County courtroom Thursday. Police said he murdered the man over drugs.
Fierros is scheduled to be sentenced next month and faces 25-years to life in prison.
Two other women charged in the farmhouse motel murder are awaiting trial. A fourth suspect has been declared incompetent to stand trial.
