SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- For the first time in over four decades the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce is moving to a new location! The move was triggered by a seismic retrofit for the buildings along Chorro street, which would have forced the chamber to temporarily move.
The chamber instead decided to move to this location at the corner of Monterey and Morro Streets because they say it gives them more opportunity.
"Accessibility, greater visibility, and being in the downtown core, close to the mission, close to city and county government offices, these are all key priorities of the Chamber," says Ermina Karim, President and CEO of the SLO Chamber of Commerce. @
The chamber says they should be moved in early next year.
