Bicyclist Severely Injured After Being Struck By Car

LAKE NACIMINETO, Calif.- A bicyclist is in the hospital Monday after being hit by a car, near Paso Robles.

It happened at 10:30 Monday morning, on Nacimiento Lake Drive west of Oak Flat Road. California Highway Patrol says the bicyclist, 78-year-old Stephen Tobin, from Arizona, made a left turn directly in front of a Dodge pickup that hit him.

Tobin was taken to Sierra Vista Medical Center in San Luis Obispo with severe injuries. As for the driver, she was not hurt.
