
PASO ROBLES, Calif- Monday night Paso Robles Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a person reporting that they had just been robbed in the 1900 block of Creston Road.

The male juvenile victim stated that he had been walking by himself when he was confronted by two suspects who demanded his property. One of the suspects cut the victim's arm with a knife and the other suspect punched the victim when he refused to surrender his property. The suspects were able to take the victim's personal property and then fled the area on foot.
The suspects were both described as Hispanic males. One suspect was described as 15 to 19 years of age, approximately four feet tall with a thin build, last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans. The other suspect was described as 15 to 19 years of age, approximately six feet tall with a muscular build, last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and jeans.
PRPD officers responded to the area and located one suspect hiding in the 200 block of Scott Street. This suspect was positively identified by the victim as the person who had injured him with a knife and stolen his personal property. This suspect was arrested without incident and later booked into the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Services Center for robbery (felony), assault with a deadly weapon (felony), and a probation violation.
The second suspect has not yet been identified. Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation, no further details are being released regarding the property involved. Due to the age of all involved parties, no further information will be released regarding their identity. The wound suffered by the victim was minor in nature and did not require medical treatment. The initial investigation did not reveal any information that this event was gang related; however, this is still under investigation.
