Thursday Morning Shark Sighting in Pismo Beach, 150 Yards From the Beach

PISMO BEACH, Calif- If you are planning on going to Pismo Beach to get in the water you should know there was a shark swimming in those waters.

According to CalFire, a surfer saw a 12 foot shark only about 150 yards from the beach south of the Pismo Beach Pier. The shark was estimated to be 12 feet in length.

Officials are posting advisories, but the beach will remain open, said CalFire.
