Woman Accused of Shooting Neighbor To Death Pleads Not Guilty

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- A California Valley woman accused of shooting her neighbor to death has pleaded not guilty.

56-year-old Gina Mayborn is accused of shooting 49-year-old Joseph King Cochran to death on July 1st. Mayborn pleaded not guilty Friday in San Luis Obispo Superior Court. Authorities say Mayborn got into an argument with Cochran before she shot him.

Mayborn is scheduled to be back in court July 25th for a preliminary hearing.
