Fatal Accident at Highway 101 and Clark in Orcutt

ORCUTT, Calif. - California Highway Patrol, Santa Barbara County Fire Department and Santa Barbara County Sheriff Deputies responded to a fatal accident on the North bound off ramp of Highway 101 and Clark Avenue around 5:28pm today.

One man was pronounced dead on the scene, another victim, a woman was trapped in her vehicle. Firefighters were able to get the victim out of the car and transported them to a nearby hospital.

The off ramp at Clark was shut down for several hours. No word on what caused the accident, it is still under investigation.
