SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- A brief scare for people at a junkyard in Santa Maria, where some nearby power lines fell down.
Men and women from the Santa Maria Police and Fire Department were on scene at the yard on A Street and Carmen Lane in Santa Maria around 7 p.m., Monday
Officials were nervous, when they first got on scene, due to the abundant amount of metal the junkyard had and the possibility of people nearby being shocked.
PG&E Crews responded quickly to cut the power off and in the end, no one was hurt.
PG&E Crews are still trying to figure out how the lines came down in the first place.
