San Marcos Road Vegetation Fire 100% Contained

GOLETA, Calif. - Santa Barbara County Fire is still on the scene of a small vegetation fire on the 1400 block of North San Marcos Road in Santa Barbara County. The fire is now 100% contained.

Reports of the fire came in just before 1pm. It was burning on the Eastern side of the road and was 90% contained by 1:30pm. Power lines were down in the area, Southern California Edison was able to get the lines under control and then firefighters were able to then get the fire fully contained. No structures were damaged and the fire was limited to just 1 acre.
