SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Santa Maria Police are searching for the suspect who stole a bicycle at Cycle Star Bicycles on east Betteravia on Saturday, July 14th.
In the surveillance video, the suspect goes inside the store, looks around, then gets on a bike and rides away through the front door.
The manager of Main Street Cycles, the sister store of Cycle Star Bicycles, says he hasn't seen this type of incident in a while.
"I haven't seen this, we've had windows smashed and guys come in the middle of the night but this is something new, definitely bold, he was in steps of a sales associate, very bold," says Tony Gamberutti, manager of Main Street Cycles.
There have been a few thefts at each of the stores. Both of them are offering a $500 dollar reward to anyone who helps find the suspects.
