Man Found Dead Near Train Tracks, Was Not Hit By Train

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's office says a 59-year-old man found dead on the railroad tracks in Paso Robles Monday night died after falling from a bridge.

Autopsy results released Thursday found James Dahlgren died from blunt force trauma, not from being hit by a train. Dahlgren was found dead Monday evening near 24th street in Paso Robles.

The Paso Robles Police Department is conducting its own investigation.
