At Least 12 Killed and More Injured In "Dark Knight" Shooting in Colorado

AURORA, CO - Aurora Police say at least 12 people are dead following a shooting at suburban Aurora, Colorado movie theater. Several others were injured when a gunman opened fire early Friday at the premier of new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises" in Aurora theater.

The gunman, identified as 24 year old James Holmes reportedly walked into theater 9, threw some type of gas canister and fired multiple shots inside of the movie the Century 16 theaters at the Aurora Mall.

There was no immediate word of any motive.
